was a free-lance journalist when she researched the topic of complementary foods in the course of her EJF fellowship in 2013/2014.

After studying Russian and German philology and Eastern European history, she worked as a trainee in

2003/2004 at the Lausitzer Rundschau (Lausitz Review) in Cottbus and, afterwards, was active for 5 years as a

journalist in Lausitz. Following that she was an editor for the Network for Eastern European reporting.

After her maternity leave, she went back to freelancing and continued to work with a focus on Eastern Europe

and Lausitz, but also on topics such as complementary feeding or power-napping. Since 2017, she has been the Press Officer for the city of Lübben in Sprewald.
